Through balance one can find peace. To achieve true peace, that balance must be spiritual as well as physical. When she was fifteen, Eun-Bi left the stone cave her impoverished family called home and travelled to the Gan Mountains. She was rejected eighteen times by eighteen different monasteries before she was accepted into the Aether Temple. The hierarch told her frankly that she was considered untouchable by many in the mountains. Word of her applications to the martial temples of Gan was gossip amongst the hierarchs; a peasant without letters or manners sought to take up the martial arts. She would likely leave at the first challenge. The Aether hierarch would give Eun-Bi a chance, for she had grown weary of her duties and desired a challenge. If she could tutor a person so turbulent as Eun-Bi, they their journey of teaching would be complete.

Eun-Bi in now a master of the Aether Style after ten years of intensive training. There is none except the Aether hierarch who can claim to have better physical balance that her. Yet, despite all this, Eun-Bi has been unable to create a spiritual balance within her. So now the Aether heirearch is sending her from the mountains and back to the canyon city she left a decade ago. Her parting words “You must understand and accept the pain that drove you to my temple gate. You will not find your answers here in the mountains but in your past. Perhaps then you will be able to focus your spirit.”
