In faith there is absolution, a knowledge that what is done is done in your god’s name and it thus true. Before she found Kaddas, Fanuna was lost. Her life as the spouse of a wealthy merchant had no purpose to it. An empty routine of luxury filled her heart with nothing and left her soulless. The fire in her was awoken when she stopped and listen to a street preacher and was intrigued. She went to the temple of Kaddas and was inspired. At her testament ceremony, Kaddas revealed herself to the assembly and anointed Fanuna as a champion.

Kaddas is the goddess of fire and emotion and is forever at war with Ydea of ice and logic. Fanuna is charged as being a leader in this war. It has been a steep learning curve to go from being a trophy wife to a general of armies. Far from her old home, she has seen war and death on a scale she could not imagine. She has ordered armies into battle and cast powerful spells upon her god’s enemies. She loves it, for now she has found her purpose as the cutting edge of her god’s will. She no longer doubts that life has meaning.
