Far amongst the outer rim, the war between the Republic and the Sith Empire is a long way away. Despite what the average Coruscanti citizen would have you believe, the worlds out here are neither lawless nor wastelands. Their lack of population may mean they are not cosmopolitan but that draws Jacelyn to them even more. Baros in the outer rim was her home for a few short years before she joined the Jedi order. Even the more isolated training sites seemed busy and crowded to Jacelyn and she never felt settled.
RPG character inspiration for each day in February. Heroines with personality, depth and a problem to resolve.
Now a newly ordained Jedi Knight, Jacelyn could not accept fast enough when offered a posting to the Seline sector. Out here there are no masters double checking her decisions or trainers correcting her techniques. Free of interruptions and protocol, she looks to develop her own style and further her connection to the force. She declined the droid and starfighter offered, preferring instead an unarmed shuttle with some leg room.
Her duties are part judge, part law officer, part diplomat and have kept her busy. The locals have been mostly welcoming of their new itinerant Jedi. They recognise one of their own; someone from the edges of space. It has been a month since Jacelyn last needed to draw her lightsabre and she’s been able to avoid killing entirely since she arrived a year ago. In this period of peace, Jacelyn finds herself deep in thought on the utility of violence. Her knight training was focused on the martial aspects of being a Jedi, but now she wonders at seeking a quieter path within the force.
