The Bull of Ancient Greece

The bull was a powerful symbol in the Hellenic world. Zeus himself was seen as a bull and assumed its form in various legends. The bulls were valuable and sacrificing such wealth to the gods was a status symbol and seen as a good way to get the gods attention. As characters explore the Age of Legends tabletop role-playing game they may find themselves officiating over a sacrifice paid for by a rich and powerful local who expect it to guarantee the success of a venture or marriage.
