6d6 RPG: Yet More Feedback on Mince Pies & Murder

Today’s session of Mince Pies & Murder was at Vague Connections and turn into a real good laugh.

Hits & Misses

The players took control of their characters and quickly gave the pre-gens an individual twist, complete with outrageous foreign accent where required. Their investigations proceed well and their initial work on the crime scene was effective but then they started to flounder a little. Towards the end it looks like the murderer would get away.

The party missed a fairly obvious line of inquiry that left them with out some major clues. This was just one of those things that sometimes happen in a game, even to the most experience and logical players. This was compounded by some bad dice rolls as the scenario accelerated to its climax and it looked like I would have my first dead dectective.

However, they were saved by a brilliant piece of lateral thinking role-playing that allowed the police to turn up at a critical point, saving the day in dramatic fashion.
