Understanding the Character Deck

The cards in the deck identify where a character is particularly skilled or gifted and what makes that character stand out from the crowd. If a character does not have a particular card, for example Brawn, it does not mean they are a weakling, just that there is nothing special or outstanding about their strength.

This applies to equipment as well. Characters do not need a card to indicate they have clothes because everyone has. But a character might have a card for a designer evening gown or a mithril shirt because these are out of the ordinary.
