Djinn, Greater
Djinn are fiery creatures in Arabia who are fond of making pacts with mortals. The appearance of a djinn depends on its strength and age. Weaker ones have almost no physical presence, looking like a thin wisp of smoke with a barely audible voice. The strongest appear as roaring pillars of smoke and flames with booming voices and the power to burn anything they desire. In all cases the true dangers of a djinn are its words, promises and offers which always contain a clause to trap the unwary. Whilst djinn can be fought, the best way to deal with one is to trap it with a contract. Many Arabians have used this tactic to gain a powerful servant.
