Melee attack a character whose move has just finished in your location.
Bayonet for the 1873 Springfield Rifle. If the character has the Springfield 1873 rifle as part of their character deck this card can be used as a Static card.
Capacity (3*), Range (1), Shotgun, Two Handed
A crude, early form of shotgun. It can be loaded with up to three Powder and Shot cards but when fired, all the ammo in the gun is used in single shot.
Mounted Movement+, Range Resistance, Static
Ride quickly to avoid gunfire. After the attack is resolved, the character moves to an adjacent location.
Range Resistance [Rural, Open], Rotate, Static
A large lump of rock gives excellent protection.
Bow+, Range+, Rotate
Skilled in bows and similar weapons. If Brawn is also used in the action, the Brawn card rotates.
Static, Stance, Range+, Rotate
Hold the weapon in a fixed position for maximum accuracy and effect. No movement is allowed while card is in the pool.
Physical strength giving melee attacks that extra punch.
Hard to spot in this terrain

Ride your opponent down. As part of a melee attack, the character may move into adjacent location to reach the target.

Run away from danger. This card can only be used if an adjacent location also has the Open keyword. After the attack, the character moves to the adjacent location.

Used by coach guards 'riding shotgun' this short-barrelled shotgun does not incur the two-handed penalty if used against a Melee Action.

This iconic pistol of the Wild West was the first mass-produced pistol to use integral percussion caps in its cartridges. Circa: 1873 onwards; Uses Pistol Bullets.
Range Resistance [Urban], Static
Use the corner of a building for cover.
When the going gets tough, the tough get dirty. Range weapons can be used as melee weapons with this card. They are worth 1d6+0 and Rotate.
Place discarded cards under this card.
Pistol+, Range+, Rotate
Rapid fire with a revolver. When fanning, Pistol and Skill Expertise cards do not Rotate but the Pistol counts as a Two-Handed weapon and also cannot be played with Skill+ cards.
Rotate, Range Resistance [Rural, Building], Static
These densely-packed bundles of fibrous vegetable matter are surprisingly effective protection and can be used even when the opponent is in the same location.

A swift steed. When in the pool, the character can only use Mounted Movement, cannot use any terrain specific Range Resistance cards and this card counts against any Range actions.

Lie flat on the ground, making the smallest target possible.

Hand-to-eye coordination and nimbleness.
Skilled in melee including unarmed combat, bladed weapons such as knives or axes, and blunt weapons.

Hard to hear or see. Movement Actions involving this card do not trigger Opportunity Actions.
Out The Back, Jack!

Run out the back door. This card can only be used if an adjacent location also has the Building keyword. After the attack, the character moves to the adjacent location.

Expert with a pistol. When this card is in the pool, Ammo cards can flow directly into the Gun Stack.

Gunpowder and loose shot.

Duck behind your mount to avoid gun fire and similar manoeuvers.

Named after Rooster Cogburn and his rapid reload technique. Only usable with a Winchester 73 rifle, the rifle card does not rotate when used with this card.
