An advantage is something significant about the character that can be played as part of an action. They are generally, but not always, something beneficial.

All advantages have a dice value that is added to any action they are invovled with. The dice value is set by the CP value of the advantage or, in the case of mundane equipment, is a nominal CP 4 / 1d6+0. Unless explicitly made free to use by keywords or covered by the character's free resists, an advantage cannot be used without spending potential.
