Ya-te-veo
A flesh-eating tree native to Africa and South America. Its thick canopy and lush leaves attract animals seeking shade, water and food, bringing them within reach of the vine-like tentacles which grow from its trunk. The tentacles grasp the prey and hundreds of hollow thorns emerge from the appendages to puncture the victim's skin and drain its blood. Once the prey is empty and dead, a mouth opens in the trunk of the tree and the dead body is placed in it to be slowly absorbed over time. Ya-te-veo trees can move and will migrate to find better locations, however the tree can only ever mosey and only moves one 5' square per action.
